Today is the beginning of something that I have always wanted. A little background about myself, I started in the fitness programs at a very young age. Right when I got into fourth grade I started with cross country. When I got to sixth grade was when I was about to play sports. Not knowing what I wanted to do I took it the broad way and did ALL the sports! Volleyball, cross country, basketball, track, softball. You could say I have done almost all the sports. Getting into high school was when I started to get a little more serious. towards sophmore/junior year I narrowed it down to volleyball and track. Doing year round club volleyball and running track with almost all the events. My senior year of high school I narrowed it down to just track. I just love running (you don't hear that from everyones mouths). Doing the longer distance hurdles was my specialty. It was something that just well I was the best at. There was always that one other girl besides me and it was always a close competition. Going into my first community college I knew I had to keep doing track. I did the long hurdles and started throwing Javelin. I went to State competition that year for throwing the Javelin. Surprising mostly everyone because it was my first year doing that event. I also became a heptathalete. Where the girls do 7 events in two days. I did that for the two of my community college years as well as cross country one year. Then red shirting my third community college year. I then had to take a year off of school and was not able to do any colligate sport. I then trained and completed my first half marathon. Then I started to get into crossfit. I have now been doing crossfit for months. I am now at Chico State and I go to North Rim Crossfit. and I love everything about it. I am thinking about running track again but I don't think I want to go back to the sport because I am very independent and crossfit lets me do that. I have become a "Paleo" eater on and off for two years now. I think I am going to stick to doing crossfit and when I get stronger possibly trying some competitions and such. I am now a newly beachbody coach. More to come on that as well... I initially love where I am at with my health and fitness. I am in my prime and I am here to help you, but I also need YOU to help me continue this lifestyle.
