Sorry everyone I have been away from the website for a few days, its been a busy few days though! Just a catch up of the past week I have missed. Nothing tooooo out of the ordinary other than I had my first crossfit competition yayyy. Its actually way out of the ordinary and I loved it. It was a super fun day. What better way to spend my saturday then to workout all day long! Me and my partner (cody) werent expecting to do as well as we did. I guess we did because I had no idea how we were going to do well heres how it went; there was 5 wods and then a final workout for top 6 in each division.
"No Love Lost"
6 min time cap:
30 alternating handstand pushups
skill: 15 second backbend hold
30 alternating box jumps
skill: 3 skin the cats
30 alternating overhead squats #65
skill: 2 weighted pistols
30 alternating pistols
skill: 15 second L sit hang holds
30 alternating toes to bar
skill: 2 L sit chin ups
30 alternating pull ups
skill: 2 parallet L sit hold
Basically you have 6 minutes to rack up as many points as you can. We got 22nd in the first workout ( there was 40 teams).

"Air Force 15"
15 Thrusters 95/65
15 High Sumo deadlift pulls
15 Push Jerks
15 Overhead Squats
15 Front Squats
EMOM 4 burpees
10 minute time cap to get as many rounds as possible
My partner got through and then I got to the middle of the overhead squats before time ran out.
We got 8th place in this workout
"Ball and Chain"
3 minute workout
1st minute one person perform as many reps with a double kb snatch
2nd minute person two performs double kb snatches
3rd minute both partners both do double kettlebell snatch in sync.
We got 5th in this workout
"Every Rep Counts"
This one is kind of confusing but it is an EMOM and theres wall balls, box jumps, and power snatches, the rep scheme going 7-7-7 then 8-7-7 then 8-8-7 then 8-8-8 then 9-8-8 and so on. Every partner does their rounds switching each minute but if you fail to finish your reps within the minute your out and your partner has to get as many snatches in the next minute as they can.
We got 9th in this workout.
Overall we got 9th! Out of 40. I am so proud of me and my teammate we did really good! Even though we did not make it to the finals I was okay with what we had gotten overall. Called for a long day and we all went and drank beers and had pizza! We all well deserved that.
Then superbowl I had off went to my friends and had some beers and appetizers! Another good day off.
Had a little bit of a workout in on monday and well back to every day life as I would call it :) Finally catch up with groceries in the fridge and the normal schedule again.
