I struggle with food. DONT WE ALL.
I hate when people tell me NO, you can't have that. I wonder if its working though.
Lately I have been told NO you can't have that. Ever since I quit drinking alcohol I think that my control issues with food are starting to get UNDER control.
We need a healthy relationship with food to understand what our body NEEDS. I know you can do this because if I can do it anyone can.
I have come to realize by living a healthy lifestyle with healthy foods in my pantry and fridge it will limit me from overeating, cheating, and binge eating. When there is food around that is not paleo or healthy then I get a craving that I NEED it. I eat things my body doesn't need. I am coming to realize that my body doesn't need as much as I give it. Sometimes it needs more, and sometimes it needs less. It helps having a partner who is so ON POINT with nutrition and health. My body feels RIGHT when I give it the correct nutrients and fluids. By cutting out alcohol I have felt what feels right and wrong. It has been years since I have gone this long without alcohol. It has only been about a month, and will continue to be many more months to come.
