I am three days into my 30 day Paleo challenge and yes it is very challenging.
I am trying to take one day at a time, one meal at a time.
I have been doing very good and turning down foods that are completely not paleo. Yes I have had a salad with some dressing that might not have been super strict and there might have been some blue cheese crumbles in my stomach as well. And yes I did have a glass of wine with dinner. But I am not going to stop that is not going to make me get down on myself. If I let that get to me then I will completely have something not Paleo and it will all go downhill from there. The first few days are the hardest and I know that. It might be a week or two until I get used to it.
I am going to call it my Whole Paleo because I know I have already messed up my whole30. But I am 80/20 paleo and by that I mean, 20% of the non-paleo foods I eat are healthy. By that it means I have some organic rice or I have a tiny bit of sauce thats not completely paleo. Some of you might not agree with me calling this a whole 30. Yes I understand that it's not but I am staying healthy and am not going off and cheating a crazy meal. If anything I have a healthy non-paleo piece of food in my meal.
I am going to Thailand in two months and I am going to be ready. I am not going to have a cheat. I am going to be healthy and workout til then. I encourage you to follow along with me and ask questions if you wish and keep in touch. It helps having a connection with someone on the same path. I will try to keep an update as much as possible with school, work, fundraising.
