Today's the new start of the next 5 weeks. I signed up for the crossfit open so I guess it's time to get serious. Starting today for the next 6 weeks until the open is over I am going to eat paleo with a few exceptions such as gluten free carb options once in a while such as brown rices, quinoa, gluten free corn options, etc. As well as a semi cheat meal on the day I do the open workouts or the day after. But no cheats for me other then that. I want to get lean and feel good for my workouts so I can perform the best of my ability. My boyfriend is going to help me because we have half or more of all our meals together (good thing he's a nutrition major and likes paleo eats ☺️). But I thought id announce my new way of eating because it's a known fact that if you announce challenges or new habits your going to commit to it makes you highly more likely to stick to them if people know about it. So if you want to commit to something tell the world! Don't be afraid you won't be judged, and if they judge you they're not worth your time.
That being said I will finish my post off with my workout from last night and last nights dinner ( my last non paleo meal for a while)
Warm up was
30 pass throughs
3x 10 burpees
15 sit ups
20 double under
5x5 strict press
Built up to #80
12 min amrap
5 push press #95
10 toes to bar
Yesterday's workout felt very shitty. My body was over worked from doing a double day the day before so I was not on the top of my game to say the least.
Yesterday after the workout we went to woodstocks and got a pizza with gluten free crust and I got a beer.
This morning I went to a Moms (breakfast place) and got black coffee, orange juice, an omelette with mushrooms and spinach, side fruit, gluten free toast.
And now off to work! Going to bring shakeology for lunch! Have a fabulous day peeps 😚🌞🌻
